We offer month to month leases, with a one month minimum.

We require a two weeks written notice to move out. This notice can be emailed to info@shoeboxstorage.com or faxed to 973-697-9556.  Make sure your full name,unit number and move out date are on the notice.

We accept major credit/debit cards, checks, cash and money orders.  You also have the option of setting up your account with autopay which will automatically debit your checking or credit card account each month when the rent is due or you can pay online anytime 24 hours a day. Ask about our long term storage annual and bi-annual payment options and discounts.

By definition climate control is considered to be units that are kept above 40 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter months and not above 90 degrees during the warmer months.  We do not offer climate control units and recommend that you don't  store items that are subject to freeze.  

It is the tenants responsability to insure the contents of the unit for the cash value of the property.  Please check with your insurance agent to verify that your property in the self storage unit can be covered under your homeowners or renters insurance and if it would be in your best interest to utilize your policy. 

A one month security depsoit is required on the unit. Security deposits are fully refundable upon vacancy.

The lock is your own.  We sell locks in our office very reasonably both disk and traditional master locks. Should you purchase your own lock the only limitation is that the shank of the lock not be more than 7/16" in diamater.  Locks larger than this will not fit through the latch.  The locks we sell on site will fit.
